A good friend of mine gave us this bed when they were cleaning out stuff. It was in pieces on the top of it and needed to be glued and clamped so Jeff fixed it and then it came to me. I was so thrilled to be able to bring this piece back to life. This is one of the prettiest pieces I have ever had the priviledge to work on.
First I cleaned it really good with TSP, it took 2 good cleanings to get it ready for the paint. I used a new paint to the states called Annie Sloan chalkpaint. It is a great medium to use that gives an authentically vintage look when distressed.
