These 3 turquois pieces for outside I just painted in random so they weren't totally covered and then I sand them and put a dark distresser on them and they look great and are protected for the outside elements. These 4 posts were part of a bed and the person had taken them apart and was throwing them away.......they are solid pine and beautiful in my world so I cleaned and painted and distressed and added some vintage rusty tin to cover some of the worst blemishes and they look great. Could be used in house or outside in the garden is where I would put them. Just drill hole in bottom and put a long piece of rebar and it will stand by itself in the ground.......a wonderful addition to any garden.
All these barnwood pieces I took odds and ends I had laying around and screwed onto barnwood that I had cleaned and polyed. I like the look of poly on old wood. They all have great uses now and would help organize any room in the house. I got these 2 trunks at a garage sale and they were in pretty bad shape so I cleaned and primed and painted and painted and painted and the underneath words kept coming thru so I had to put a coat of Kilz on and then paint again.....alot of painting went on these 2 pieces, and then I stenciled and distressed and I absolutely love them. I like things that have uses not just decorative and these would hold alot of stuff that you need to get out of site but keep close by.....magazines, toys, knitting etc.......
